What is a KARUSO?

A KARUSO is a rotating, safe and space-saving bicycle carousel. Here are a few pictures.

Why does your organisation need KARUSOs?

There are several reasons why KARUSOs are worthwhile for large organisations.

Giving your employees / citizens the opportunity to cycle

Since Corona, the bicycle market has been at an all-time high. This is basically good, but only a fraction of the bikes purchased are actively used in everyday life. Why is that? There are no secure parking spaces. Employees or citizens don't want to simply lock their "good" bike in the bike rack and hope that it hasn't been stolen after three hours.

A space-saving and secure bicycle parking space is a benefit for everyone.

Accelerating the mobility transition

Another point is the mobility transition. Green means of transport are at a point where they could replace other, non-sustainable means of transport, but are not doing so because there are obstacles to using them in everyday life.

Are there references?

Yes, there are! In February, we will be equipping the city of Bellinzona in Switzerland with a comprehensive KARUSO network. The city has a 5-year plan to upgrade its bicycle network to even more KARUSOs.
